I will be joining potter Peter Brondz at his annual studio show and sale over Thanksgiving weekend. See the second image for details. Take a drive down the Turnagain Arm and stop in at his studio in Bird Creek. He and Jenny Nakao will have amazing pottery and I will have a selection of small things as well as a few small furniture pieces. I hope to see you there!

A juried exhibition at the Bellevue Arts Museum in Bellevue, WA featuring the work of 39 wood artists in the Northwest.

For 10 days I based out of a remote cabin in in Denali National Park and Preserve to gain creative inspiration from the Park. This piece shown here resulted from my experience and is on display at the visitors center.

An exhibit of Contemporary Craft at the Anchorage Museum that featured some of the best contemporary craft pieces in the museum’s collection, this exhibition covers a wide range of finely made, innovative work including textiles, woodworking, basketry and mixed media. Featured artists include Carla Potter, ceramics; Mark Wedekind, wood furniture; Rika Mouw, jewelry; and Fran Reed, fish skin.
